Run for the Roses  

REGISTRATION, RACE, BREAKFAST, AND AWARDS ALL LOCATED AT THE AMES MIDDLE SCHOOL, 3915 MORTENSEN ROAD


Proceeds from Run for the Roses go to fund Arthritis Research Grants. This year's race will be on Sunday, October 11, 2009.

Purpose of Race and Walk
To provide a quality event to all participants, to promote the Ames Area Running Club and to raise funds for Arthritis Research grants.

Omelet Breakfast:
The new Ames Middle School on Mortensen Road, your race number is your breakfast ticket; guest tickets are $5 each.

Red rose to all finishers

Awards: 
Awards given to first male and female finishers and the top three finishers in each age division in the 5K and 10K. MANY DOOR PRIZES GIVEN AT BREAKFAST!

  • The money raised by this race goes in the name of AOII directly to Arthritis Research Grants. There are no administrative costs.
